Hi Ray, the Kontakt version uses advanced scripting and GUI capabilities to give you more control over the sound. Also the Kontakt version has "raw mode" which can be used alongside the loaded preset to create layered hybrid patches (check manual for full info). The Live version does not include the raw page, GUI and sequencer. However it does include the raw samples (3.8GB) with 152 Sampler presets that are grouped into instrument racks with macros for quick sound shaping. Hope this helps!
